Shades of Red

Part 2 of age progression series for the Character Thadian Mikash.

That looming city wall never thought we would make it this far....

To sell roses in the shadow of a prowling wolf. One caged the other loose. Sadie was his savior from the streets, his benefactor, his teacher, as well as an end of one way of living life.

( With this piece I really tried to make an uncomfortable feel. It's too busy, it's cluttered, there's an over abundant of the red color, there's too much encroaching darkness, there's just too much going on to focus on one thing above another. It was all done to reflect the feeling of the character in that moment of his life. The fence line is to make a divide, yet to make neither side of the barrier to feel safe. The shadow of the wolf on the cobble stone isn't any more threatening than the look Sadie herself is giving Thadian. I have Thadian standing at a higher level than Sadie to represent a higher ground of morality as well as to give a sense of apprehension and impending doom. )
