Part 3 in my character age progression series. Thadian Mikash

The soul masters the beast, the beast masters the soul...

Not all is in balance as one pretends to be. Upon meeting Telran Starthorn, Thadian found a new place that he felt at home, and some peace for some time.

( In this piece I attempted to give a sense of surreal balance and reflection. Yet at the same time an indication there is more that is going on than it first appears. The two subjects in the background on either side of Thadian has different representations if on a teetering scale of balance. Telran and the fae dragon appears shrouded in shade, as if the reason their for their presence remains unknown. Yet the two figures in the background are supposed to represent, ignorance and education, past and future, shrouded in the mystery of shadow, their purpose not fully understood by Thadian. The human form of Thadian intentionally holds a slightly different expression, and positioning than that his reflection of his wolven form, it was done to indicate a slight struggle of wills to maintain that uneasy truce. What one portion of himself wants, the other part desires something slightly different even if it's not noticeable at first. Everything else was done to distract from the main focus of the piece. )
